Andres Kal is an artist from Bogota, Columbia. His paintings are depictions of a journey through a human being portrait’s and contemporary visual elements melted as a metaphor of our present time. Although he is focused on female portraiture he is not chasing likeness or beauty, but rather trying to catch the perfect instant where the sitter falls on a state that he calls: “the perfect moment”, where the subjects are floating on a kind of introspection state unaware of their surroundings due to their own thoughts.
